Temenos Wisdom School Apprenticeship Program 2024

This one-year apprenticeship program is designed to explore and illuminate a small corner in the pantheon of the healing arts. This program has been designed for therapists and thinkers alike, for women interested in learning more about healing either as a student of healing or a professional practitioner and for women seeking depth, change and transformation.

The program offers a unique approach to the women’s mysteries. Theory grounded in the lineage of CG Jung the Depth Psychologists, hands’-on workshops for bodywork processes and energy healing practicums, deep retreat on country and circle work all come together to offer a unique and integrated learning experience. A community of women coming together for work and support and change. A great gathering of mind, heart, and spirit.

The Temenos approach to healing is to do small things well, to attend to the sacred in the everyday, to shine a light. Women’s medicine makes a small prayer that has influence, has a light touch that heals, speaks simple words that create change. Apprentices will emerge from the program with new therapeutic insights and skills, a deeper understanding of Self and the human condition and an experience of community and kinship.

The program has three interweaving strands

• Online Tutorials

Depth psychology seeks to activate human imagination, the place from which stories arise, where anything is possible, and myth and mystery reside. The language of the deep psyche is somatic (of the body), imaginal (of the mind), cultural and ultimately mystical. The online tutorials will introduce Jungian, developmental and somatic psychology to provide a framework for our endeavours. The tale of the Handless Maiden will be our Archetypal map as we attend to the deep soul of woman and the seasons of her life.

• On Country Gatherings 

The Autumn and Spring residential retreats, the one-day gatherings and Labyrinth Immersion provide an opportunity to sit on country and receive the Mother’s blessing. Rest, reflection, and time under the sky. We will explore hands-on healing, somatic process work, Jungian method and shamanic practice in the tradition of my Kofan elders. All gatherings are held at our property at Upper Yango Creek, Laguna NSW.

• Circle Work

This important part of the apprenticeship program is where we foster our capacities as lightworkers, clear old shadow material, repair, maintain and upgrade our body/mind/light grid and make a prayer peace and healing for ourselves, our families and the larger community. We will sit for a series of 6 online circles throughout the winter months.

CALENDAR 2024

Autumn cycle. March – May

• One-day On Country gathering and opening circle. Held at my property at Upper Yango Creek. The tale of the Handless Maiden and the wounding of the feminine.  Held on a Sunday. Date confirmed on enrolment. 
• 4 x 2 hour online tutorials. These sessions will introduce the foundations of developmental psychology and the Archetype of the great Triple Goddess and the Heroine’s Journey that unfolds over the course of a woman’s life. The tutorials will take place on a weekday evening. Calendar confirmed on enrolment.
• One 3-day residential retreat. Deep work is facilitated within the retreat setting and the foundations of Women’s Medicine are laid. Held over a long weekend. Dates confirmed on enrolment. Residential includes a 1 hour online integration circle the week after the residential.

Winter Cycle   June – August

• Circle Work. Six x 90-minute online healing circles. Facilitating our capacity as lightworkers, the Circles will take place on a weekday evening. Calendar confirmed on enrolment.
•  On Country Winter Gathering held at Upper Yango Creek. This gathering will strengthen our Circle Work and our connection to Land.

Spring Cycle September – November

• 4 x 2 hour online live tutorials. This cycle of tutorials introduces the principles of Somatic Psychology and the science of the bodymind. We explore this dynamic and integrated system that organises our experience of ourselves and our environment. The tutorials will take place on a weekday evening. Calendar confirmed on enrolment. 
• One 3-day residential retreat. The Spring retreat deepens our relationship to country,  refines our capacity as hands-on healers and introduces the concept of Kitchen Medicine.  Held over a long weekend. Dates confirmed on enrolment.
• Three hour online integration workshop and farewell gathering. 

Apprentice qualities

Students joining the program need a high degree of self-awareness and a capacity for self-reflection; good interpersonal skills and the ability to participate in group processes.

Fees
The fee for the one-year apprenticeship program is $3500. Early bird fee of $3300 applies to payments received before December 31st 2020. Payment plans are available.

I’m part of the 2021 Apprenticeship group under the wise and potent tutorship of Alison. I signed up with hopes of feeling a part of a supportive group of women – to provide a framework for my personal journey for 2021. The program has all far exceeded my hopes and dreams.
